Relief for Fire Victims in Paradise.

I’d like to share an opportunity to help our California neighbors who are still hurting from the massive loss and destruction of the Camp Fire and assist with the current needs of displaced residents- it turns out the best way to help is to get cash donations and gift cards directly to people in need. Here is the link to the Go Fund me page:

The organizers of this fundraiser are local ranchers and community members for many generations. Their hearts are absolutely in the right place. If you want to give even a small amount, it will go directly to those in need and evidence shows the most impactful donation is cash straight to those who are impacted. They know what is of highest priority to get their lives back on track.

If you’d like to drop off a gift card (i.e., Safeway, Costco, Walmart, Target, Gas Stations, Starbucks, fast food chains, Visa etc.) donations can be dropping in the locked mailbox outside of 3080 Pacific Avenue, 94115. Feel free to drop off any gift cards or other donations in envelopes anytime. You can also call 415.860.7070 to hand off a donation directly, before February 8th.

Wishing ALL of us a thriving and balanced new year. Thank you for your support.

Our California neighbors are hurting! and I have been hoping to contribute in an impactful way to the displaced people who lost their homes, community and livelihoods in the Camp Fire.

Dear Neighbors, Family and Friends:

Over the last month we have been researching the needs of the displaced people of the Paradise fires and the organizations supporting the victims. We have been figuring out how we can best help the victims.  It’s been difficult to find out exactly how larger organizations distribute funds collected, so we’ve been working with two dedicated caseworkers who are focused on helping the Paradise victims directly.

Many of the families that were impacted travel from motel to motel every few days, barely staying afloat, with absolutely no solutions in sight.  Others are living in tents in parking lots or moving from shelter to shelter – they have literally become refugees in their own town. Many victims are relying on donations to help them get through this trying time.

Over the next four weeks, we are spearheading efforts to collect monetary donations, gift cards and supplies, the donations suggested by the caseworkers, with plans to deliver these items directly to various affected families in Paradise the weekend of February 8th. 100% of proceeds will go directly to victims.

Please consider helping support this critical cause. Examples of items we need include:

·  Gift cards, i.e., Safeway, Costco, Walmart, Target, Gas Stations, Starbucks, fast food chains, Visa etc.

·  Cash or check to be given directly to the shelters

·  Visit our gofundme page to make online donations:

·  Shelf stable food, i.e., canned and non-perishable

Thank you in advance for your support of this important cause.

Warm Regards,

Rese Morton
